Fractal Formula
The process:
Shape created in Mandelbulber3D from dodecahedron using a generative fractal formula with 5 iterations. Exported it as a .ply to use it in Blender. From here it was as a .obj to export it again to Cura in which it was prepared for 3D printing. In cura object was split into 2 parts for stability during printing. The 3D printer was manipulated during printing by higher temperatures, faster printing speed and tight layer height.
